Russell & Company CPAs PC was founded by Jim Russell to provide outstanding service to individual and business clients in the areas of financial reporting, taxation, valuation and litigation support, and retirement plan administration.  Jim is joined by a team, both well acquainted with and new to Jim, who share in his philosophy.

Reid joined the firm in January 2020 after previously working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their real estate tax practice based in New York City. Reid is a certified public accountant and obtained his BBA and Masters in Taxation from Fordham University. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  In his spare time, Reid enjoys watching sports, working out and traveling. James G. Russell, CPA/ABV/CFF

Jim leads our team with over thirty years of public accounting practice.  Jim, a certified public accountant, is accredited in business valuation and certified in financial forensics, and holds membership in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  In addition, Jim is a member of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group and a board member of the Children's Law Center.  Jim resides in Farmington with his wife, Carmela.  Jim can be reached by phone at 860.838.8162, or email at jgr@russellcompanycpa.com.

Michele R. Dumesnil, CPA/ABV/CFF
